Mindfulness improves our health because it relaxes us and reduces stress and anxiety. It allows us to quiet the endless distracting chatter of our mind so we can focus on the current moment. When we experience mindfulness, we connect with our inner thoughts and feelings so we can make calm, positive decisions.
There is a part of us that we’d rather not know about. A dark part. A part of our consciousness that we try to hide and deny. It’s the dark part that we believe isn’t acceptable to others or even to ourselves. It’s buried deep inside, hidden.
