Practicing the Art of Being Humble

Become familiar with the following and apply it to your daily life.

Gratitude: Be thankful for the things and people around you. Show your appreciation to others. Thankfulness stops pride from growing.

Accept your shortcomings: Be aware of your flaws. Know that your not perfect and be proud of this imperfection.

Don’t let success go to your head: It’s fine be proud of your achievements. It’s not fine to hold them over peoples heads. Success is only temporary, stay grounded.

Treat everyone equally: Be kind, attentive, courteous and respectful to everyone you meet. Treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of their station in life

Practice kindness without looking for credit: Be willing to help people and share your knowledge with others. Find joy in helping others succeed and grow. Don’t worry about being right and being at the top position. Look for reasons to help people. Join a charity, donate. When you practice kindness without looking anything for return, you are humble. You validate yourself without boasting.
